Vishnu Vishal, the Dark Horse of Kollywood, laid all his cards out, in his recent interview with Bharadhwaj Rangan.
A chance meeting with Amir Khan that led to a miracle in his life, his spat with Prabhu Solomon, his new avatar as a producer, lost opportunities and new beginnings.

Vishnu Vishal met Amir Khan in Red Giant's award ceremony in Chennai and they instantly hit it off. Vishnu Vishal met Amir Khan in Bombay for a coffee and a simple conversation led to Amir requesting a narration of Vishnu Vishal's upcoming film, Aryan. Vishnu claims that Amir seriously considered playing the antagonist in Aryan since he loved the gripping storyline.
A beautiful friendship grew between the actors over time. Amir also referred an IVF doctor in Mumbai for Vishnu Vishal and his wife, Jwala Gutta. He hosted Jwala in his house for a year, during the course of her treatment.
Vishnu Vishal named his girl child, Mira, an anagram of Amir.

Vishnu Vishal's journey as an actor started with a bang with Vennila Kabadi Koozhu followed by a series of flops immediately after. He stated that he wore the Producer Hat after missing countless opportunities as he was not considered a bankable actor. Vijay Antony's Naan, Bharath's Kadhal, Elan's unnamed films, the remakes of Jersey and Pelli Chuppulu are some of the few misses in a 15-year long career.
Being a DGP's son, Vishnu Vishal was always left in a corner as many producers found it intimidating to work with police officer's son. On the other hand, few production houses tried to leverage his love for films as a bait to gain financial favours. The producer of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu called it quits due to financial constraints and the debut actor, Vishnu Vishal, shouldered the burden of arranging financial support to bankroll the film.

He said his career took a sharp turn post the success of Raatsasan with Prabhu Solomon's Kaadan where he was reduced to playing the second fiddle to Rana Duggupati in the final cut. His big-ticket comeback film, Laal Salaam, produced by Lyca Productions, also failed to impress the audience. Superstar Rajinikanth, initially roped in to play a supporting role, ended up spearheading the film. Vishnu Vishal bit the dust with the film's failure in box office and his reduced screen time.
As Vishnu Vishal is making waves once again with his next production venture, Oho Enthan Baby, he shares yet another untold story behind the making of this project.

Vishnu's father and his uncle nurtured a wild fantasy towards cinema from a young age. However, the brothers took different lanes in life. His uncle resorted to working as a daily wager to help Vishnu Vishal's father complete his education. After fulfilling his responsibilities as a big brother, his love for cinema took over. He played supporting roles in a few films until eventually shelving dream.
Vishnu Vishal is launching his uncle's son, Rudra, as the lead in Oho Enthan Baby under his home banner, VV Studios.
