Wamiqa Gabbi, child artist from bollywood, has had a long journey from her debut in Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Her silver screen journey has been a long and tiring one with more than 10 films in Punjabi, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil Cinema.

Though Wamiqa has appeared on big screens across the country, speaking multiple languages, she was never celebrated as a Pan-Indian star since the movies failed to garner attention among the film audience.
Though Wamiqa is seen defending her film choices under the context of artistic fervour to do meaningful roles, it costed her 10 years to bag Netflix's Khufia starring Tabu in the lead and a second lead in Baby John starring Varun Dhawan and Keerti Suresh.

Though the movie failed to get the same opening as its Tamil original Theri starring Vijay, Baby John gave Wamiqa a new lease to her Bollywood dream. With the graph stabilising with her next film Bhool Chuk Maaf with Raajkumar Rao, Wamiqa bags her Telugu film G2 with Sesh Adivi and Tamil re-entry with Lokesh Kanagaraj for DC.
The actor is holding her cards too close to her as she signs Bollywood films starring big guns like Akshay Kumar for Bhooth Bangla, while choosing to keep it simple for her Telugu and Tamil re-entries. However, with 3 ongoing projects across 3 languages, the actor is feeding the artist and the strategist in her. Wamiqa Gabbi's pursuit to become a familiar face in three biggest film industries of India is a daring feat.
