Madha Gaja Raja opens with Vishal saving Anjali and her father from perpetrators and ends up falling in love with a very coy Anjali. This love story does not take off any further since Vishal's father is against a love marriage.
The story abruptly jumps to a wedding get-together where he meets his school friends who are dealing with difficulties in their career, all leading to one man, founder of a Pharmaceutical Company and Vishal wears his armour, ready for battle, for the welfare of his friends.
Firstly, we get that the movie is a decade old. Hence, the plot and the scenes are ancient and outdated. However, the movie making a rocking start at the box office, makes us stop and wonder - Have we truly evolved as human beings?
Though a small part of Santhanam's humour is innocent, a major portion of it is adulterated with body shaming comments and sexually obscene dialogues.
The audience celebrated 3 men gawking at a woman playing in the river and laughed loudly as Arya, in a special appearance, spanks an elderly woman. Vishal and his friends making lewd remarks over a girl doing yoga and taking turns to ogle at the entire female cast in every other scene did not make the audience gasp in shock. They loved it.
As much as we leave the filmmakers out of our barrage of insinuations since this movie was made for a different time, we can know blame ourselves for calling this "entertaining".
The same audience that celebrated Arjun Reddy and Animal for its massy heroic appeal continue to enjoy the same flavours delivered comically.
This movie being promoted as a "Family Entertainer" is irony at its best.
