Director Dhanush happy with NEEK?

Dhanush's old clips have resurfaced only to add more spice to his Gen-Z directorial starring 6 newcomers.

Dhanush is seen talking about his children and he boldly addresses the elephant in the room. He claimed that him being Yatra and Linga's father is futile if they are not willing to put the hard work it takes to make a mark in their life. He repeatedly mentions how he is inspiring them to walk the hard path and own their success, instead of living under the shadow of their family legacy.

We wonder if NEEK was worth the risk for Producer Dhanush, as the project is a direct contradiction to his earlier statement.

Actor Pavish from NEEK

Dhanush has launched his nephew Pavish in Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam AKA NEEK. Pavish has portrayed a humble version of himself in all the promotional events and is repeatedly seen addressing Dhanush as "sir" which was seen as an endearing gesture. Director and Producer Dhanush has skipped the Audio Launch and Press Events in stealth.

Pavish mentioned that he received a call, out of the blue, from Dhanush's Executive Producer Sreyas, stating Dhanush wishes to meet him. The rest is history.

Recalling Raayan Audio Launch in which all the actors including SJ Suriya, Prakash Raj and Selva Raghavan called Dhanush a Taskmaster on set, we wonder if Director Dhanush was truly satisfied with the performance he extracted out of his nephew Pavish.

A dance sequence of Dhanush and Actor Saranya is making rounds along with the same sequence with Pavish replacing Dhanush and the stark different in the screen presence was baffling. Though Pavish is a newbie with a 6-year experience of being an Assistant Director, he has a long way to go before he touches the pinnacle of acting standards set by his uncle Dhanush.

The makers did a wise decision by lowering the expectation of the audience by labelling NEEK as a Usual Love Story. GV Prakash's songs were a crowd-puller and the audience were eager to see this next-gen actor, mentored by Actor Dhanush.

The viewers have been pouring love towards Pavish and encouraging him to up his game for his next film. As of now, it is a green tick for the new kid on the Kollywood block.
