Isaigyaani literally means a person with a sage-like knowledge about music. The Biggest Music Director of the 80s', fondly called as Isaignyani Ilayaraaja has made a mark for himself on the World Music Stage with his maiden Symphony titled "Valiant" at Apollo London.

Ilayaraaja, the God of Orchestra, for known for his extensive pieces composed of strings, violins and flutes for his songs, Manram Vantha Thendraluku, Valaiyosai Kalakalavenru and many other hits that have made their way to Most Listened Shopify Playlists of 2025.

As times moved on, music merged with technology and the sound of orchestra could be created with a few clicks. As Newer Players like AR Rahman, Harris Jeyaraj made a storming entrance into Kollywood, the Maestro resorted to his drawing room with his Harmonium, making music for his pleasure and for some films that still wanted the God of Music to bless their film with his tunes.

As much as Ilayaraaja was renowned for his soul arousing music, he vehemently stood true to his gospel of principles. One such endeavour led to a folly of court cases where he sued popular Production Houses, Singers and Music Labels. He fought on behalf of his army of musicians and claimed a stake of the copyright to be offered to them. Ilayaraaja almost became an Internet jester riling up a meme-fest around the lawsuits he was embroiled in.

After 2 years of sabbatical, the God of Music has emerged from the shadows to become the first Indian to host an International Symphony in London. The greatest Artists from India, including our Chief Minister MK Stalina and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have showered praises on the 82-year old legend for his pathbreaking milestone.
