Sivakarthikeyan who is on a sabbatical since COVID is all set to release his next movie, Doctor. The lockdown imposed in 2020 was punctuated with a hip dance number called "Chellamma" which featured the Music Director Anirudh Ravichandran, Sivakarthikeyan and Director, Nelson Dilipkumar. Sivakarthikeyan has said that every time he spoke to his mother over the phone in his struggling days, his mother ended the conversation with 5 words "You should not lose dear". Sivakarthikeyan says that he felt his nerves pulse a little faster every time he heard those words.
