Why his songs are SO addictive? A Deep-dive into Sai Abhyankkar's Compositions

Sai Abhyankkar has set the internet on fire with his latest independent song, Sithira Puthiri, directed by Akshay Sundher. He has paired up with Meenakshi Chaudhary, who was last seen in the Pan-Indian Blockbuster Lucky Bhaskar.
With mixed reviews peaking their heads initially, the Singer-Musician has turned the tables to his favour. The song has a strange nibbling effect which turned all the first-timers to serial-listeners who have been humming the tunes ever since.
How did he get it right again?
Abhyankkar's first song, Katchi Sera was a humble production compared to the magnum opus visuals of Sithirai Puthiri. However, Katchi Sera got it right in terms of casting, styling and the viral hook steps. It was directed by Ken Royson from Asal Kolar camp featuring Samyukhta Viswanathan. One year later, Sai upgraded himself with a new look, dancing shoes and shook hands with Thejo Bharathwaj who worked extensively with the Rap Sensation Paal Dabba, for the next song Aasa Kooda.
Sai Abhyankkar hit it out of the park with Aasa Kooda, pairing up with Preity Mukundan, who showed the world she is a dancer first.
The lyrical poetry in Sai Abhyankkar's songs stand out in the enormous production. He conveys unadulterated love and the longing that comes with it, in all his creations. The visuals are contrary as there is zero intimacy shared by the artists. This focuses the listener and viewer's attention solely on the soul stirring composition.
The Art Direction for both the tracks were limited to studio setups with leather sofas and theatre lighting. Sai takes a giant leap with his third hit Sithira Puthiri. The song is shot outdoor with a lovestruck Sai tapping toes with Queen Meenakshi in a different dimension.
Teaming up with Anusha Viswanathan from The Dancers Club for the third time, the song instantly rages across Instagram with music lovers re-creating the signature steps.
The visuals show Sai as an intruder entering the Queen's mansion , a Street Romeo pining for his times with her and as a Lover in a dream sequence shot in barren lands. Sai nails all three looks as he keeps getting better with his screen swag and dance moves.
With his third hit, Sai has dropped an anchor in the Indie music industry and we wonder, Is he the next big thing ?
