The Chocolate Hero of the early 2,000s' saw Abhinay debut with Actor Dhanush in Selvaraghavan's Thulluvatho Ilamai. Though Abhinay could not storm Kollywood, he attained the pinnacle of success in media and advertisements.

Chennai 600028 Vijayalakshmi, recently shared her experience of working with him for an advertisement and called him a Gentleman for being a dignified co-star. She claimed she was apprehensive about sharing an apartment with him in Mumbai for the ad shoot and eventually found a passing friend in him.
Vijayalakshmi also mentions how Abhinay was leaning towards alcohol to burry down the agonies of being a sole provider for his family.

Abhinay was plastered across Youtube suring Covid as he was aggressively giving interviews and promoting himself to give Kollywood another try. His interview with Child Artist Kalyani Rohit went viral as he was seen expressing his inability to known the doors of producers and ask for job.
Though he gained momentary traction for a brief period, the episode never grew more than a coffee table discussion. We assume his struggles with mental health and alcoholism continued as Arvind passed away due to a liver condition on Nov 10th.
The story of Abhinay is a testament to the continuing curse of supporting actors AKA second heroes who are rarely given the opportunity to shine as lead actors in the future. There are very few actors who broke this mould including Arvind Samy, Abbas and Vijay Sethupathi.
